The main thing to mention is that the beach is considered ideal for sports activities such as sailing and windsurfing and in general for any sport that requires wind and waves.

Access to the beach is by road via the regional road that connects Komi with the settlement on the beach, while during the summer months there is also public transport from Chora to the island.
