The sandy and pebbly beach of Lefkes, which is found just in front of the settlement of the same name on the eastern end of Kythnos, is a popular destination for holidaymakers and visitors to Dryopida. Its waters are sparklingly blue and the beach is bordered by rocky formations at each end. The seabed is a mix of sand and pebbles, with the latter sparkling in the sunlight, making it a great spot for swimming. It is the perfect place for those looking for a tranquil holiday, as well as families with young children.

Kythnos beaches have several trees, providing shade to vacationers. People come here with all the necessary items to have a picnic, or they opt to dine at the village's only tavern. Nearby the beach in Lefkes are accommodations, such as rooms and apartments, that are well-equipped for cooking. Supplies can be found at the supermarket 3 km away in the direction of Dryopida. Alternatively, visitors can sample the local cuisine at the tavern, where the owners also offer lodging.

Situated on the eastern side of the beach, a low hill is home to a few houses, studios and rooms for rent. On the other side, the west side, the majority of the settlement's houses are located. After the small amount of homes, one can find the orchards of the settlement, full of fruit, vegetables and trees, before reaching the beach.

From the beach at Lefkes Kythnos, you can enjoy a stunning view of the bay and the hill to the left. On the hill stands an old loading platform, a relic from the past when the island was home to iron mines. To the left of the beach is the chapel of Agios Nikolaos, with its grand courtyard overlooking the sea. The stairs at the small pier lead up to the chapel.
